ASHES BRING RAIN

The once silent ocean stirs again. The Sky will remember the ashes and fear the rain.

Fisherman Minot and his Fairy companion Iv went about their day like they usually would: Fishing for a living. But their normal life came to a halt after arriving at the sea. The infamous Night Ocean covering most of the world's surface has been still for as long as recorded history, and now is has become active. After fighting off a strange white bird and finding a golden artifact they realize something major is going to happen soon and they decide to investigate it.

The habitable world is surrounded by a gigantic wall of clouds keeping an ancient storm at bay. But over the years the Frontier keeps shrinking and more land is lost behind the wall. Together with a mysterious woman they travel the different nations, make new friends and collect more artifacts to stop the growing storm. With some luck they might even find a way to quell whatever is lurking underneath the waves of the Night Ocean. As they travel the world gets increasingly complex, full of conflict and dangerous ambitions. A large stone sword becomes important in their adventure, as ancient text is engraved on it which hasn't yet been translated. The denizens of the Ocean seem particularly interested in obtaining that sword.
