The Reaper Academy

by S. P. Sojourner Ongoing

Synopsis

*While the first few chapters are edited and only edited by A.I. I do not wish to continue using it and will be hand editing moving forward*

Check out my main book, Ethernal:Kingdom of Ether; Book One whenever it releases here for free! It is my main passion and while the Reaper Academy is secondary, its lore is connected. I intend for this series to be one I continue to write as an endless series and foundation builder. Ethernal is the main one I wish to see become a full book series for all of you to enjoy and there are three planned books for the story to be finished fully. Don't worry I fully intend to continue Aidan and Rylo's journey into the Academy. Happy Reading and thanks for sticking with me as I find my footing as an Author.

The Ethernal Realm is a place where all living souls eventually arrive, it is the afterlife and is beyond what any in the Cosmos could imagine. All souls awaken on the Veilway, which is a beautifully crafted cobblestone road that possesses white bricks with golden glowing cracks all throughout the surface. This long and winding path leads to the largest City and Capital of Ethernal, Etheria. A massive and stunning Kingdom-City powered completely by magic. Souls are judged before the Karmic Quantifier and then assessed through a Magically Simulated Skill Assessment (this being a magical scan through your entire life that handpicks the most honed and mastered skills. Then it creates a simulation for a single soul at a time, allowing them to be tested.) Then each soul is assigned one of ten portals. These portals all lead to the Academy Entrance Grounds of all ten academies, each of these representing a different Mastery Path chosen for every soul based on a combination result of both the Skill Assessment and the Karmic Quantifiers passive notes. (something no soul is aware of, all thinking its only job is to scan the goodness or wickedness of oneself.) Academies are all built in, around or built central to the Ten Cities of the Ethernal Realm. All Academies main objective is to set up souls for the afterlife and their overall understanding of responsibilities and oppoturnites they'll see available, however with life being Eternal there is always time and room to grow and become something else. As all are free to do so after facing their academies head on and completely their two years, souls are recommended starting points and positions but overall are free to decide for themselves should they want to choose a different path than the one set out and offered.

Awakening on a misty, cobbled path and disorientated beyond belief, we follow a newly awakened soul named Aidan Grey. Aidan's death is a tragic one and witnessing his brother's soul being devoured while his life force abandoned him, has only left him in more disarray. More Pain. He is left with only one choice and that is to rise up into this mysterious and unknown life, grow and learn to harness the great gift that was bestowed upon him during his Dreamstate (A Shielded state of spiritual consciousness that protects the souls Ethercore from damage while crossing over the veil) and take vengeance on the demon that erased his brother from the Cosmos.
