The Kirra Vintage (A Grimdark LitRPG Novella)
Synopsis
A complete 12-chapter novella (37,000 words), scheduled Mondays and Saturdays from July 4.
Talia Kirra was raised to inherit a noble wine estate in Araluen, a family sword style, and a reputation polished clean enough to hide almost anything.
Then her grandfather dies with blood on his lips and a dark confession in his hand.
The finest vintages in House Kirra were never only wine. They were preparation. Her endurance, her rank, her body, and perhaps even her future were cultivated through something darker, older, and far less hereditary than she was taught to believe. When Crimson Elves arrive to collect what her grandfather promised them, Talia learns that inheritance is not always land, coin, or name. Sometimes it is a wound that recognises you.
With only a blunt dwarven healer, a half-drunk cellar savant, a meticulous steward, and an old sword instructor holding the estate together, Talia must uncover what her family built beneath its decorum. Every answer makes her stronger. Every advancement makes the thing inside her harder to remove.
And when the proper noble path offers her a locked room where her rank-up violence can happen unseen, Talia chooses another chamber entirely.
The Kirra Vintage is a grimdark LitRPG side novella set before Talia reaches Dunmere in The Bound Before II, following the blood wine, family lies, and rank-up violence that made her who she is before Cael Vey ever meets her.
