The City and The City follows the defenders of the Bay Area, across an escalating supernatural crisis...from the first demon incursion that reveals the city's hidden world, through the political and personal entanglements that draw hell-dimensions into mortal affairs, to a confrontation with something ancient enough to threaten reality itself.
