Mid 30s Male protagonist getting a completely fresh start. NOT a pokemon expert. This about a man of action learning to live in this new world and being a mentor to his teammates and rivals.

Story is set roughly 25 years after games and shows. All game mechanics are put through a lens of how would this work in a more real life setting. Most of the Characters or their parents can be found in the games. Pokemon are Not locked into specific move sets, shiny pokemon may even have different typings.
