Second Coming of the Archmage Victorious
Synopsis
Alrik’s empire fed every child, hung every thief, and ended every war. Despised for razing a single city, he published a guide to gaining power and retired into a [Hundred Year Slumber].
A thousand years later, he awakens to find his staff stolen, a tomb robber masquerading as an archaeologist, and his empire gone. In his absence, the Nine Realms is preyed upon by slavers, warlords, and a plague bearing his own designwork.
Armed with overwhelming power and outdated knowledge, Alrik takes the “archaeologist” Wada as his guide and hunts down the superfan who stole his staff. But time is running out—inspired by his book, the Disciples of Alrik conspire to wipe out every mage besides themselves and rule for eternity.
As a retired emperor out of time, the Archmage Victorious is going to have to do the unthinkable.
He's going to have to listen to the tomb robber.
