Will Lark was gifted with magical healing abilities at birth, a gift which has seen him through countless daredevil escapades. But now there’s a serial kidnapper, The Huntsman, targeting the country’s magical healers, and Will is his next target. Will’s encounter with The Huntsman, a dangerous supervillain, and Jesamin, a powerful fairy trapped in a mirror, catapults him into a deadly game of politics between humans and fae that has been going on for generations.

Meanwhile, Crown Prince Tye, leader of the country’s best superhero response team, still hasn’t given up on solving the mystery of his sister Eirwen’s disappearance three years ago. Could it be connected with the recent string of disappearing healers? When his search takes him too far, he’s rescued by Will, a healer with the heart of a hero. Will seems to be connected somehow to Princess Eirwen. There’s only one problem—according to him, Eirwen is a ghost.

Together, Will, Tye, and the ghostly Princess Eirwen must navigate assassins, politicians, and kidnappers, both human and fae, as they set out on a quest to find Eirwen’s body and stop a fairy coup. That’s if Jesamin’s Huntsman doesn’t catch them first.
