Eyes That See All
Synopsis
Zhang Lei was a nobody—a used car lot grunt making 2,300 yuan a month, drowning in debt, watching his sick father cough through the nights in their crumbling apartment.
Then lightning struck.
Now he can see through anything. Cards. Walls. Cars. Stones. The vision lasts minutes before the nosebleeds start, but minutes are enough to change everything.
He starts small—a card game in a smoky back room. Then used cars, spotting hidden damage that no buyer's eye could catch. Then jade—rough stones that look like worthless gravel on the outside but hold fortunes of imperial green within.
From 1,800 yuan to millions. From a nobody to a name whispered across the jade trading floors of three provinces.
But power draws attention. A mysterious organization knows about the stones that grant abilities like his. Other holders exist—and not all of them are friendly. The fragments want to reunite, and the largest piece lies buried beneath a warlord's private mine in Myanmar.
Zhang Lei has a choice: chase ultimate power, or protect what he's already built—his family, his woman, his life.
He chooses restraint. But restraint might be the hardest superpower of all.
