All her life, Yumi lived as a fugitive on the central continent, hunted for the mere act of existing. But as she escaped her relentless pursuers, she found herself on a strange continent, a land where humans are not the hunters but the hunted.

The Dark Continent is a mysterious place the humans did not dare venture, for all who dared enter the mysterious continent vanished, never to return.

But it was on that continent that Yumi washed ashore after jumping off the surveillance vessel in her desperation to flee. There she discovered a world different from the one she knew, yet similarly cruel.

The Dark Continent was a land where vampires reigned supreme and humans were subservient beings. But Yumi, unfamiliar with human superiority, was quick to adapt to her new home. After all, she was an expert at evading hunters, a skill that served her well in her old world.
