Woah, That's Life

This is a world where everybody has a Talent. Not that everyone only gets to be good at one thing, of course—it’s something that can turn into superpowers if you learn to use it just right. 

After an awakening ceremony, kids would walk away with the Talent they’ll possess for the rest of their lives. Everybody will get one, some absurd, some practical, all useful in their own ways.

The kid living two blocks down the street now can have his least favorite vegetable—carrot—for lunch, any time, any day.

The kid holding all the grudges at school gained access to infinite grenades.

The kid that’s known as a piano prodigy now permanently owns a clarinet.

Amara gained two immortal deities in her mind that gave her a sweet awaken-one-get-one Talent deal. Except that they now live in her head rent-free, literally. 

They bicker constantly. They make her go to school. They told her they’re already dead, and so will the entire world.
