Wings In Shadows
Synopsis
He should have died in the snow.
Instead, Pollux wakes with no past, no name, and a voice in his head that isn't his.
The frozen north has little use for mysteries. The cold kills the weak, and the corporations make sure no one else gets in the way.
Pollux only wants to survive long enough to find out who he is.
Then he discovers he can hear machines.
Not just hear them. Understand them. Control them.
And suddenly, survival is no longer the only problem.
The more Pollux learns about the power inside him, the less accidental his existence begins to seem. There are people who know what he is. People who have been waiting for him.
He doesn't know whether they want to save him...
...or finish what should have happened in the snow.
Pollux is not a hero. He isn't trying to save the world.
He is a boy living on borrowed time, trying to decide what to do with it before someone else decides for him.
What to expect:
• Slow-burn progression science-fantasy.
• A dystopian world ruled by corporations, old powers, and older wounds.
• Found family built one choice at a time.
• Power that always comes with consequences.
• No chosen one. No clean victories. Every decision leaves a scar.
