What Monsters Remember

Bounty hunter Thoren remembers nothing about his past.

Not where he came from. Not where he learned to fight. Not even who he was before he woke up beside the Whiteglass River ten years ago.

For the most part, that has never bothered him.

But after slaying a dangerous Blackfang Serpent, Thoren discovers two troubling things. First, the venom is considerably worse than expected. Second, the monster can talk. And its final words suggest it knew exactly who he was.

When a young mage named Mira becomes entangled in the mystery, the two set out across a world filled with monster bounties, forgotten ruins, ancient secrets, and creatures that seem far more interested in Thoren than they should be.

Because while Thoren may have forgotten his past, the monsters certainly haven't.

And whatever they remember is beginning to return.
