The Wizarding World of Lyra Parish

Knowledge is power.

At least, that's what Lyra has always believed.

After dying and waking up in the body of a ten-year-old British orphan in 1992, he—or rather she—discovers that sometimes you can't anticipate everything. That holds doubly true when a Hogwarts letter arrives on her eleventh birthday.

Now, between navigating Hogwarts, adjusting to an entirely new identity, and trying to make sense of a body and life that were never hers, Lyra decides she's not content with mediocrity after being handed Magic.

Even knowing the future doesn't make building a legend from scratch easy. Especially when canon events prove far more difficult to change than she ever anticipated.

But who would be put off by a little hard work?

Knowledge is power, and patience is key.

Follow Lyra as she studies magic, builds a few businesses, experiments with enchantments, and explores Hogwarts with equal parts logic, ambition, and questionable decision-making.

The magical world is far more complicated than the books ever suggested. Magic has rules no one bothered to explain. Ancient truths hide forgotten secrets. Even the infamous Dark Arts prove more interesting than simple good and evil. And the more Lyra learns, the more she realizes that changing the future isn't nearly as simple as knowing it.

What to expect:

– No LitRPG elements. Lyra is constrained to the magic in the Harry Potter universe.

– Intelligent MC that isn’t overpowered.

– Writing in the canon story’s tone and setting (existing characters act like they do in canon to the best of my ability, and the world isn’t massively altered from the original seven HP book’s descriptions)

– Genderbended MC, not as a fetish or running joke. 

– Slow burn, with Slice of Life elements.

– Regular chapter length between 2,500 and 3,500 words. I plan to release twice a week for now
