The Squire

The Hero was summoned. Gileus had the bad luck of finding her first.

Nothing more than an ordinary woodsman, Gileus never expected a grand tale of his own. That all changed the day he crossed paths with an otherworldly knight. Beautiful as she is violent, Herta didn't really give him a choice when she named him her squire. 

A Squire?

He doesn’t exactly know what that means, nor does he know what kind of danger it would pose, but now it falls to him to accompany this monstrous knight through a world filled with feuding lords, scheming witches, and even more heroes plucked from other worlds — all in search of her way home.

As her cook. As her translator. As her sword. 

As her squire.

Our story would be long, spanning multiple quadrants and oceans.
