When an international scientific expedition, led by the ambitious archaeologist Alec Federman, breaks into an uncharted subterranean gallery beneath the Kamenska Barchina ridge, they believe they are on the verge of the discovery of the century—the lost cult of the Egyptian goddess Bastet.

But one wrong move triggers an ancient mechanism. The cavern collapses.

American biologist Jane Monroe and her team wake up in an entirely different reality.
