The Girl Called Gyler: Book 2-Wonders of the Garden

After one last tragedy strikes the troubled Kingdom of Ryonvale, the immortal hero Lord Cosmos, his feisty little daughter Gyler, and his best friend Zaine Yervin find themselves with a new mission that will take them across the tumultuous Tyrannical Ocean. On the way to their distant destination, Cosmos somewhat carelessly opts for a quick stopover to visit an old friend on the island of Baircross, Ryonvale's jungle and mountain covered neighbor. Absent the murderous mechanical force known simply as the M Army, this jungle paradise should allow a brief respite from fighting for our heroes. However, things rarely go as planned and our heroes' fighting skills are put to the test when the dark technoknight, Gratiftas, rears his ugly boar-like head.

Gratiftas murdered Ryonvale's ruler, King Darelius, in the opening act of this war and will stop at nothing to achieve his goal, even if he must slay a hero. For the driven but fallen warrior, nothing else matters but protecting his "garden," even if Cosmos and his innocent daughter must be the sacrifice. Yet as this chaos unfolds and threatens to burn this 'Garden of Wonders,' otherworldly violet eyes look on with cold indifference from a place beyond, their focus falling quickly upon young Gyler. The girl has many secrets, after all, among them a destructive power that defeated Gigolem at the very start of this nightmare.

What happens to the girl called Gyler if the enemy should become aware of her unusual nature? What if she ceases to be merely a weak child to them? Can her father protect her as always at that time or will she have to perhaps protect herself?
