The Galactic Empire of Wyrmhole Dragons

College student Sara Joplin and her cat Hammy were just settling in for a quiet evening of studying when they got sucked into space through the strange book Sara found at the library. Tricked into signing a contract via a trap set for one of her unique mindset, Sara and her cat are now the bondmates, and apparently the property, of Etta, a wyrmhole dragon the size of a jumbo jet. But they are going to have to learn magic before they can face the galaxy they just became central players in without getting themselves - and everyone whose soul got stirred up with theirs - killed.  

Bodran is a young dragon of great talent who has been groomed his whole life by the rebellion for one task, but a twist of fate puts him on another path. Trapped in an irreversible magical bond with a stuck up imperial princess and two bizarre, weak creatures from a planet no one has ever heard of, he's going to have to stop walking the path laid out for him and forge one of his own if he is going to survive. 

Join Sara, Hammy, Etta, and Bodran as they attempt to save themselves by changing the fate of an entire galaxy. 

I'm aiming for two chapters a week, but not if a chapter isn't ready yet. 

MY PROCESS: 

I don't start a chapter until I've posted the previous one. 

It isn't canon in my own mind until I post it.

Writing this way feels like I'm playing D&D with myself. I'm the DM and all four PCs. The longer I write this, the more real they become in my head. They tell me what they are going to do next. 

I have a shocking amount of handwritten notes about the world and the people in it.

If more than three days go by without a post, trust that it's in my head cooking.

MY NO AI PLEDGE: I do not generate any of my words, plotlines, characters, creatures, species, worlds, or ideas with AI. I draft each chapter out with a pen on paper without the internet to distract me. I type my draft into a document with my fingers, and I edit and sculpt the resulting 'clay' with my own mind. My work is never entered into an AI field for editing, but I am aware that some AI is likely employed in the grammar and spellcheck native to my word processing software. I need this to be mine alone to get what I need to get out of writing it.
