The Failed Awakening

The day Mason Reed failed to awaken was the day the system made its first mistake.

Mason Reed trained for years to become a hero.

On Awakening Day, everyone around him receives a class. Tanks. Strikers. Barriers. Scouts. Even Blake Cross, the academy’s golden candidate, awakens as a rare Kinetic Striker.
