SYNOPSIS:

WHAT TO EXPECT:

This book is designed to be disorienting sometimes. While I admit wholeheartedly this work is not perfect, certain literary techniques have been applied intentionally.

This book is for you if you like stories that have:

- Slow burn character development (Things escalate, but trust the process!)

- Multiple POVs (Each chapter is written from a different main character's perspective, mirroring their internal thought patterns. I put you INSIDE their brains!)

- An unflinching exploration of trauma and healing

- A found family that FEELS real, good AND bad

- Literary prose that rewards patience

CONTENT WARNINGS:

This series is fundamentally one about defiant hope against impossible odds. But hope is found by walking through the darkest pits of the abyss, not around them. This book does not shy away from the reality of trauma, and I want you to be prepared for what is to come.

The prose, pacing, and themes are intentionally chosen to tell the stories of people hitting their lowest points in a myriad of ways. I will warn you now: There are depictions in this work of things that not everyone can handle! Please read at your own pace and/or risk! Above all, this work is for anyone who has ever felt broken. Recovery is not linear. But it is possible. And it is on you to put the work in.

- When the manuscript is complete, I will go chapter-by-chapter, making line edits, patching plot holes, strengthening characterizations, solidifying thematic pressure points, and improving flow. This disclaimer will be updated to reflect when that phase begins.

- I will attempt a schedule of once a week, but I work full-time and care for a small family. Writing is not just a hobby to me. I treat it like a profession. But I prioritize my mental health above all. If I miss an upload, I will return the following week with a two-chapter drop.
