Story Synopsis: 

Damian is a young man living in a quiet village, with the simple dream of growing old alongside the family he loves. On the cusp of coming of age and entering the influence of the divine Game that grants the people of his world their classes and skills, his best friend is given [The Chosen One] as his first class, selected by divinity to save the world from an unspecified evil. Abandoning his hopes for a peaceful life, Damian chooses to follow his friend on this quest. Things quickly go terribly wrong, and Damian is forced to learn how to survive in a world far more dangerous than he had imagined. 

Readers can expect: 

- This story is a character focused dark drama that explores how a person deals with loss, grief, and the inevitability of unfortunate circumstances. The story balances comedy, warmth, and character growth with the cold reality of the darkness in the world, but let me know how you think it lands in the reviews! 

- A light LitRPG setting with classes and skills, but no stats or numbers. A world that lives and breathes with the system that it was created inside. 

- First volume is done, slowing down for some interlude chapters while I recover. Tell me in the comments what you think! FYI all chapters are 2,500 words minimum.
