The calamity

Agave Bromeliads has always been known as a curse to her small town—a girl who brings nothing but trouble. But when bandits slaughter everyone in Grân during the Festival of Fortune, Agave dies—only to be resurrected by a mysterious angelic being who grants her the power to "reboot" fate after death.

‎Now hunted by Prince Azazel's forces, she flees through a war-torn kingdom, witnessing the fall of Esperanza and losing everyone who helps her: the old woman Carrion Blight, the knight Flora Truman, and countless others. As the Fourth Trial of Humanity begins—demons descending beneath a blood-red moon—Agave discovers that her parents were legendary heroes, that she carries unimaginable power within her, and that she may be something far more than human.

‎Allied with the surviving Holy Knights—Chris, Eldriel the elf, and even the guilt-ridden Prince Azazel—Agave must confront the mad knight Raven, who seeks to corrupt her with dark orbs, and her own resurrected father Alex, now a puppet of darkness. As the line between hero and monster blurs, Agave learns that her power comes from being a potential "Keeper of Fate"—one who can rewrite reality itself.
