Sven and The Art of Dungeon Maintenance

Earth has been put on pause, which is inconvenient for nearly everyone on it.

After Sven and his best friend Simmons blunder through a portal and interfere with something considerably above their pay grade, humanity is frozen in world stasis and the pair are deposited in a dungeon realm full of monsters, quests, magical transit systems, and administrative procedures designed by people who clearly hate rules but created a rather a lot of them anyway.

Their only help is The Art of Dungeon Maintenance—a mysterious guidebook that knows Sven’s name, insults him with alarming confidence, and appears to be developing a personality.

To restore Earth, Sven must reach the dungeon, learn the rules, and survive something nobody has ever survived before.

This would be difficult under ideal circumstances. The circumstances, having been consulted, declined to be ideal.
