Synopsis
A terrible storm and a freak accident add up to the “Miraculous Demise” of the many animal occupants of a henhouse. Their bad luck earned them all second chances in the eyes of the gods, and so they were whisked away to another world where they would be remade and set loose.
A rat, named Pit by the goddess who brought him back, is given a human form and told to go out and find the others. He will have to be cautious, cunning, and opportunistic if he is to get by on his own, and learning to use the stats and skills he now has is step one.
What follows is a story of natural enemies learning to work together, the beginning of a community, and maybe even the birth of a nation.
And some crafting, dungeon running, and monster hunting, too.
