Study hard, attend university, become a doctor, take over the Cardiac Department. These ironclad tenets were Leo’s entire world from his first memory. No matter his efforts or achievements, his parents were never satisfied, but he never questioned if it was what he wanted. Dragging himself through life, he’s not just given up… he never even tried. 

Taking every day as it comes, Selene’s using her newfound freedom to enjoy the little things in life. Unfortunately, the past she tried so hard to escape is hellbent on chasing her. The only thing she knows for sure is she never wants to go back, but can she continue to defy an overbearing father who won’t let things rest. 

A chance encounter one summer night leads them down the rabbit hole, into a dizzying whirlwind of emotions, adventure, and thrills. Dragged out of his comfort zone, Leo throws caution to the wind and lives in the moment for once. Witnessing a version of herself reflected within Leo, Selene wants to help him as best she can, even if he doesn’t know something's wrong.

Battling through expectation, family, and even themselves, will the pair stick together as something deeper blossoms… or will it fade away by summer's end.
