Star Dust
Synopsis
Humanity accomplished the impossible: disease was eradicated, hunger disappeared, and aging ceased to exist. Thanks to Resonant Metal and Stellar Energy, the needs that defined the human species for thousands of years were left behind. Death was no longer an inevitable fate, and progress seemed to know no bounds.
At the center of the Spiral stands Stellar City, a perfect city powered by an artificial star, where the elite of a new humanity lives protected by the Crown and surrounded by an abundance that feels eternal. But perfection comes at a price. Far from the core, energy degrades, leaving the outer sectors to survive by laboring to sustain a system that will never allow them to reach the center. Millions of people are born, live, and die without ever knowing the truth about the world maintained by their effort.
Nine is one of them—a simple foundry worker from Sector Five destined to fade into obscurity, until a series of impossible events drags him toward a secret capable of tearing down the very foundations of the Empire. Because the star sustaining civilization is going dark.
