Soulless
Synopsis
Kailina Rowe has always believed death is the end.
Then, on the night of her birthday, she sees Death standing in the hospital room near her fathers.
Rhaen is ancient, controlled, and terrifyingly powerful. He should be invisible to her, yet Kailina can see him as clearly as any living man.
And he is not the only immortal drawn to her.
Aevor—the Devil himself—is reckless, charming, and vicious enough to burn the world for the people he cares about. Where Rhaen is restraint, Aevor is temptation. Where one offers quiet protection, the other promises violence against anything that dares touch her.
Kailina should fear them both.
Instead, she finds herself falling for them.
But Kailina is not entirely human. She was born without a soul, created by the long-vanished entity known as Life as part of a mystery older than Heaven and Hell. She cannot die, Death cannot claim her, and no one knows what she will become.
Now the Veil separating the mortal and supernatural worlds is beginning to fracture. Angelic Watchers are hunting her. Ancient creatures are crawling into the city. And both Heaven and Hell have realised that Kailina’s existence could destroy the balance between life, death, and everything beyond.
With Death and the Devil beside her, Kailina must uncover why she was created before someone decides she was never meant to exist.
Because Rhaen would defy the natural order for her.
Aevor would set Heaven on fire for her.
And Kailina may be the one thing powerful enough to ruin them both.
