Solo Gene Hunter (A genetic progression fantasy/Litrpg)
Synopsis
Ten thousand years ago, the dungeons devoured the gods. Now, their power is up for grabs—one corpse at a time.
In ancient times, the dungeons invaded the planet of Evernight and took away the genetic gifts of its gods. Today, after thousands of years, the only way to reclaim them is to slaughter their spawns in battle and assimilate their Genes.
Except for Nero, a boy born in the heart of the slums. That's easier said than done—adventuring parties are controlled by agencies that take away all the harvested loot and genes in exchange for pennies. For slum rats like him, there were always only two options: stay with the agency and live a shitty, even if stable life, or break free and go solo for a chance at striking it big, with more than a slight possibility of ending up in the stomach of monsters instead.
Living in a house built of styrofoam and hope, Nero has nothing but optimism and the greed to obtain more. Even if he’d have to tread the perpetual night of Evernight alone, he'd do so as long as he gets to pluck those Genes (Genes that enhances physical attributes and provide monster skills) and Loot off their usurpers. And maybe, finally, stop surviving and start thriving instead.
