Shadow of the Past
Synopsis
The rain never stopped in Blackmere City.
Not after the murders. Not after the disappearances. And definitely not after Adrian Vale came back.
Ten years ago, Adrian survived the massacre that destroyed his family. The police called it a murder-suicide. The city buried the truth beneath newspaper headlines and candlelight vigils.
But Adrian remembers things no child should remember: A locked basement. A woman screaming behind walls. And a symbol painted in blood.
Now he returns as a criminal psychologist, carrying insomnia, hallucinations, and a mind fractured by trauma. But when new murders begin mirroring the past, Adrian realizes someone has been waiting for him.
Someone who knows what really happened that night.
As endless rain floods the city streets, old friends become suspects, enemies wear familiar faces, and every secret drags Adrian closer to madness.
Because the greatest mystery isn’t who the killer is.
It’s whether Adrian himself can still tell the difference between memory… and truth.
