What do you do after the end of everything?

Five years ago, the universe was torn apart by an unknown force. Eithi and seven others were called upon to stop this destruction, and restore the fabric of the universe.

They failed.

Nearly everything was swallowed up by the resulting rift, and all that was left was bound to follow.

Eithi escaped with little more than their life and their magic: the ability to travel through the Chaos outside of the universe. This power brought them to a peaceful, magicless world at the edge of the universe. Here, wracked by grief and guilt, they plan to live a quiet, solitary life until destruction catches up to them.

But a voice from the past calls out, speaking of a way to save all that remains. With new hope and new companions, Eithi sets off on an adventure that will take them all across the tattered remains of the universe, and into the Chaos beyond.

What to expect:

-2 chapters weekly, updated Tuesday and Friday (8:00am Eastern Time)

-about 2000 words per chapter, some may be somewhat shorter or longer

-character-driven fantasy/sci-fi in a variety of settings (with "home base" being set in the gaslamp era)

-focus on interpersonal relationships (family, friendship, romance) alongside saving the universe

-a mostly queer cast of characters

-cosmic wonder

-cozy apocalypse

-(mostly) non-violent solutions to problems

-features a protagonist dealing with/recovering from a traumatic experience (reason for the sensitive content warning)
