Synopsis

In a world where emotion-feeding demons lay traps and monsters roam, the Guarded rely on city walls and the power of Slayers to defend them. Meanwhile, Tinkers patch together new tech to travel trade routes between fortresses. The Citadel, humanities' grandest city, trains the next generation of Slayers at the esteemed Academy in the shadow of the Shrine where the Demon Lord is sealed. Dawn Celosia, a promising cadet with Aura off the charts, begins her training in the same class as Johan Rourke, the first Tinker to enter the school.
