Synopsis

Purpose and meaning. Former toiling for latter. Former in vain. Latter by happenstance. Given an ultimate purpose, can you ever find meaning in it? Or will you create the meaning yourself, carving away until it is all that remains? But may a hand slip and make a mistake, what is removed will never again be what it was.

Lev, an Artificial Intelligence, is taken from his world to another. What awaits him in this new world is the System. And nothing else. Will he be able to fight his way to the top and find a way back home? Or is he exactly where he needs to be.
