Octant of a Man

“Octant of a Man” is a “collaborative” writing project in which six authors take turns writing the next chapter— except that we have no idea what they will write. Not all of us get along. We made a rudimentary plot idea to start us off, but it's up to each individual author to decide what will happen next.

New chapter every other Saturday at 3pm EST.

Augustine Coleson was a standard nine-to-five worker whose life was transformed by a brush with a dangerous monster, a beast so powerful it can tear one’s soul away with a single bite. Now, Augustine is somewhere strange and has to recollect the pieces of himself that were scattered across a vast, wild land.

What to expect:

- Written by six authors, so expect moderate inconsistencies with tone.

- Eight pieces of the soul based on Egyptian mythology.

- Sudden plot changes, character deaths, and crazy chapter endings, (screwing with the other authors).

- A unique, magical, medieval fantasy world.

-No harem, not litrpg.

We recommend you read the first 6 chapters + the prologue to get the gist of each author's style, as styles will change slightly, and each author only writes 1/6 of the content.
