Men, Don't Woo Me, I Crossed Worlds for This Inn
Synopsis
Venya is thirty-six. Divorced. Betrayed. Burned out. And now, apparently, dead too.
She wakes up in a twenty-something body that is definitely not hers, stranded in a storybook world where she might run into Hansel and Gretel at any moment. There’s no way home, but there is no godforsaken IT project either. Go figure. She takes refuge in Sweetness House, a dilapidated, forgotten inn on a little-used road in the middle of nowhere. She rescues Ves, a wounded lynx pup, and discovers a strange affinity with the plants around her.
As Venya restores the inn at her own pace, it becomes a home for her and her lynx, and she can finally imagine an easier, more relaxed life for herself. Just hoist your legs up and follow the clouds in the sky… what a life!
Keeping it that way is another matter as the dark clouds crawl in the sky in the form of men.
While trying to keep would-be suitors out of both her inn and her life, she opens its doors to travelers. The wider world follows them through the door, bringing friendships, romances, and problems that reach far beyond her quiet corner.
Reader note: Low angst (conflicts resolve without unnecessary drama). Multiple romantic arcs over time, but no harem or polyamory. One endgame romance. No system. Adult themes but no R18
