When the silver screams of the dead tore through their home, Grace learned the bitter truth: in a world of ash, you are either the fuel or the flame.

Now, she is a blade with a broken heart. Every step through the wasteland is a battle to keep her humanity from eroding into the same cold steel she carries to protect the only light she has left.

Beside her is Mable—the girl who was supposed to heal the world, but now finds herself trying to mend a soul that is shattering. Their love is no longer a soft promise; it is a desperate anchor in a sea of gray. It is the heat that keeps them from freezing and the hope that makes the tragedy bearable.

In the Time of Ash, progression isn’t just about power—it’s about what you’re willing to lose to keep the person next to you alive. They have lost their home, their families, and their peace. All they have left is each other, and a LUMA spark that is as much a curse as it is a gift.
