Letting My Demons Win
Synopsis
A sabotaged cult summoning brings a new hero into a world of magic and combat, granting them the power to shape their destiny. With limited resources and knowledge, Vex must navigate a mysterious new world, uncovering the secrets of noble houses and their ties to a cult bent on summoning an apocalypse to reshape the world.
Unfortunately, there is just one problem: The hero. While in the character creation menu, Vex sold his skills and years of knowledge from his previous life to become an Ersatz Guildmaster. Now he's stuck in a pocket dimension of his own making with no clue how to get out or the stakes he will face. But at least his new abilities give him the power to summon tiny little murder demons, called Shadowlings, that he can use to face down the coming apocalypse of fluff and blood.
What to expect:
- A reluctant MC, with lots of room to grow, who finds themselves on a Hero’s Journey.
- A pleasantly crunchy LitRPG inspired by a handful of MUDs from the 90s.
- Slow-burn guild and group progression.
- Awful puns, numerous easter eggs, and the occasional snippet of adult humor.
Updates will be posted weekly, Wednesdays at 10:00am Eastern Time.
