Iron Will
Synopsis
A corporate drone working the night shift falls asleep at his desk in 2026 — and wakes up in the body of history's most infamous man. June 22, 1940. Compiègne Forest. The French armistice is being signed. Lin Mo has twenty seconds to figure out where he is, whose face he's wearing, and how badly things are about to go wrong. He knows the history. Every catastrophic decision. Every turning point that turned the wrong way. And now, against every instinct he has, he's the one person in the world who can actually change them. No invasion of Britain. No march into the Soviet Union. No two-front war. But stopping a war machine already in motion means navigating the most dangerous room in the world — surrounded by men who have known the real Führer for years, who notice when something is different, and who have their own plans for what comes next. Lin Mo isn't here to build an empire. He's here to keep the world from burning. And somewhere along the way, through a supply chain running from Berlin to occupied France to the mountains of Central Asia, he's going to try to make sure that one particular war — the one being fought by people who have no idea he exists — ends with fewer names on the memorial walls. Iron Will is an alternate history novel set against the backdrop of World War II — a story about power, conscience, and what one ordinary person does when history hands them the worst possible job.
