Instead of Becoming an Adventurer, I Chose to Fish

Earth did not end in a man-made disaster. It ended when mana flooded in, changing everything.

Ray Wilson was just a man running a small construction business, spending his free time on the thing he loved most, fishing. When the mana apocalypse came, that hobby was the only reason he survived the first hours.

But Earth is no longer safe for humanity.

As monsters are born, ecosystems twist, and the world itself begins to change, the Adventurers’ Guild arrives from beyond Earth. They came from a wider universe filled with magic, classes, and thousands of inhabited worlds. Rescued from the collapse of his home, Ray is thrown into a new reality where strength, skill, and survival are all tied to the System.

Ray does not seek glory or overwhelming power. What he wants is freedom. A way to live that helps the people around him without drowning himself in blood. As he soon learns, such a path does exist.

Yet nothing in this new reality comes without danger.
