Synopsis
Horse of the Thunder Herd expected to die defending his Dark Lord. He didn't expect the kingdom he fought against to spare his life.
Now, with the rebellion over and no cause left to fight for, the orc warlord faces a challenge far more terrifying than heroes or dragons: finding a new job.
Fortunately, Workforce Integration Services has found something perfect for him.
Substitute teaching at Rocrider High School.
Horse must manage unruly students, impress administrators who aren't convinced he belongs in the classroom, and work alongside fellow teachers, at least one of whom seems far more interested in him than in lesson planning.
And he'll have to do it all before the past he thought he'd escaped threatens to destroy the future he's trying to build.
