Aurora Payne sold her soul to buy her more time against her cancer diagnosis. Now, the Devil has collected his due. But Aurora soon finds out that Hell isn't anything like she had once conceived it to be.

Hell is not just a jail for those who have sold their souls, it’s a prison for the most destructive entity in the universe: the Horde.

An ancient deity akin to a black hole, the Horde is the mother of all demons and nightmares. The Celestials constructed Hell over 8,000 years ago to be its prison, and the humans sent there to be its food.

Yet, something is now stirring beneath Hell's foundations. The chains around the Horde are breaking, a plot is gathering among the demon courts, and Aurora doesn't yet grasp how tightly those chains have wound around her.

Annunciation, Book 1 of the HORDE series, follows Aurora's descent into a hierarchy of monsters who all want something from her, and a Devil who's just realized he wants her most of all.
