Waking up in the middle of nowhere, Cyrus finds himself in a city of runic gauntlets, synthetic power grids and flying vehicles, as well as Starbinders, Beast contracts and magical Artifacts.

One dark night, as he returns home through the rundown streets of the Outer Ring, he is assaulted by villainous thugs up to no good!

“Where are you running, boy?”

“Please! I don’t have anything for you—”

But things are not so bleak! The Heavens have blessed him and a mysterious System binds to him, granting him powers that he does not fully understand yet.
