Sixteen years ago, the legendary Demon King was defeated at the cost of Grand Arcanist Aurielle D. Valemont, bringing peace to the Kingdom of Aldoria.

Sixteen years later, Kael D. Valemont, Aurielle's nephew, enters the Grand Arcane Institute. Despite being born into a legendary mage family, Kael suffers from severely damaged mana circuits that make normal spellcasting nearly impossible.
