Synopsis
The grand heroes sleep in silk sheets at the palace. I’m in a freezing alleyway, eating a corpse from hell.
Summoned to a holy war alongside my classmates, I was deemed "useless" by the King because I was just a Home Ec student. Thrown into the slums to starve, I did the unthinkable to survive: I butchered a demon and ate it.
Turns out, every monster species has a flavor, and every meal grants permanent stat boosts and forbidden magic. As the corrupt human empire forces a war of aggression against the demon realm, I'm eating my way up the food chain.
