Genius Prince Goes Bananas

Prince Kai was born a genius. That is what most people in the Empire were taught to think.

Yet, at some point, one just gets fed up with all the growing attention and the insurmountable expectations placed on an alleged genius. Constant assassination attempts fueled by jealousy don’t help either.

In truth, Kai was only pretending to be a genius. He was even pretending to be a prince. That is all due to him secretly being a transmigrated person from another world. One day he just woke up in Prince Kai’s body and kept pretending to be someone he is not.

To his credit, he has done a good job so far. Relying on knowledge from his past life, he developed the Empire to never-before-seen heights in a mere decade. However, one day, a thought occurred to him.

“If all my new life is just a pretense, why not take it one step further? I will pretend to go bananas. At least that way, I might finally enjoy living again.”

And so he did. Changing one pretense for another.
