Synopsis

From the Ashes

One hundred heroes were summoned to save the world.

Only one remained.

For decades, the kingdoms believed the original heroes died fighting the Demon King. Instead, they became something far worse. Now the continent is ruled by corrupted legends, twisted by power, war, and the very abilities that once made them humanity’s greatest hope.

The northern kingdoms have fallen.

And the last surviving kingdom stands on the edge of extinction.

With their final strength, five dying priests attempt one last summoning ritual.

They only manage to bring back a single hero.

Lucius never asked to save another world.

Dragged from modern Earth into a dying land consumed by monsters, ruined kingdoms, and broken people, he quickly learns that surviving this world will take more than courage alone.

Especially when the enemies he faces were once heroes themselves.

Guided by a mysterious blacksmith hidden deep within the volcanic mountains of the southeast, Lucius begins gathering allies strong enough to challenge the corrupted rulers threatening humanity’s final refuge.

But the deeper they travel into the ruined world, the more unsettling truths begin surfacing:

the original heroes did not fall all at once, their weapons continue evolving long after they are forged, and corruption may not spread the way humanity believes it does.

Somewhere beneath the sound of hammer strikes and forge fire, something ancient still watches the war unfold.

And every weapon must eventually be tested.

From the Ashes is a dark fantasy progression story featuring:

evolving weapons and armor party-based combat corrupted heroes slow-burn mysteries emotional character growth dark fantasy worldbuilding and battles where victory always comes with a cost.
