Maran was raised on illuminated codices, those beloved graphical tales of the many odd worlds and their challenges. An essential education—at least according to her father, who once walked those very worlds.

When it came to her own family’s own codex, Maran never fully understood its story. It started with how her parents met on the muddy field of battle—a challenging partnership between a Brawler (made of leather) and a Finder (made of stars), especially given the gang of Wendrian Duelers hunting them both. But for whatever reason, the author removed and hid some of the codex’s illustrated panels, leaving the story incomplete. And Maran’s parents have long since vanished, unable to provide any answers themselves.

Retrace her family’s illuminated codex. Complete its missing panels. And maybe Maran will discover what happened to her father—and learn the one true tale of her mother as well.

Discovery is a worthy trophy to collect, after all.
