Enigma arrived overnight, promising untold powers and riches to anybody who managed to crack the code.

The whole world waited for an explanation; yet none arrived. No alien invasion. No monster dungeons. Nothing.

For some people, waiting for an answer was not enough. Samuel was one of them. But how are you supposed to figure out the mystery of a lifetime when you’re stuck wasting your precious brainpower on something as soul-draining as IT support, and your manager is a complete twat?

So, he did the only thing he could do. He quit his job, turned his back on everything and everyone, and dedicated himself to solving Enigma.

He failed. So did everyone else. A month later, Sam’s savings have run out and the world is still reeling. Every day brings new information, conflicting claims, and outright lies. Everyone wants the answer. Everyone wants the prize. And plenty of them are smarter, richer, and better prepared than Sam.

Broke, exhausted, and with nowhere to turn, he’s left with nothing but his dreams of success. Yet within those dreams, magic comes to life.

What to expect in this story? Slice of life elements, normal people caught up in something far from normal, and a story that takes place as it would in our very own imperfect world. Also, deep, unrevealed mysteries. Seriously. There are secrets here that will not be uncovered for a good, long while. If you need instant gratification, seek elsewhere! There will be false flags and misunderstandings aplenty. There will be gore, violence and profanity, but they aren't key elements or constantly prevalent.
