Synopsis

Kael Darkstar is born with an almost unheard-of gift: dominion over the five primordial elements — fire, water, thunder, earth and wind. Behind his calm, gentle exterior lies an innate bond with darkness, a power whose depths he cannot begin to fathom.

By sheer chance, he stumbles upon an ancient dragon egg and forges a sacred bond with Shadow Scale, the last living heir of the shadow dragons. This young beast wields a fearsome ability: it can devour every form of elemental power in existence.

The corrupted dark envoy Silas Duskshade spreads chaos across the realm, while Mors Abyss, overlord of the abyss, marches forth at the head of his dark legions. Kael embarks on an epic quest alongside loyal companions: Aria Moonlight, a mage who commands both water and wind; Reno Thunder, his rival who ultimately becomes his closest ally; and Elder Victor, the enigmatic mentor who trains him to harness his volatile power.

An ancient darkness stirs once more. The Lord of the Dark Source, embodiment of primal chaos, shall awaken after a thousand years of slumber.

Kael and his black dragon must master both elemental forces and shadow. Side by side, they stand to turn back the apocalyptic ruin that threatens to consume their world.
