Echoes of the Outcast (Cultivation Apocalypse || Monster Hunting) (Stubbing August 12th)

Blake always thought cultivators were insane. 

Ten years ago, the Integration destroyed the Earth, and an army of cultivators subjugated what remained. 

It wasn’t the apocalypse he imagined. During the Integration, he was one of many unlucky souls on a merge border. His body blended with a demonic monster from another world, ending any potential he had as a cultivator. Shunned by the cultivators and the old world alike, he’s stuck working dead-end jobs for uncaring managers—only these managers can split mountains in half with a swipe of their axe.

Waiting around for another apocalypse to fix everything? Hoping a legendary technique just falls in his lap? Blake’s tired of waiting. He bets everything on a magic ring and steals it from beneath the cultivators’ noses. 

It contains the soul of an ancient warrior. And as it turns out, cultivation has changed: it has become boring, rigid, and weak. Cultivators only use mana now, weakening themselves, and they’ve forgotten every legend they grew up with. 

But there are different vital energies out there than just mana. Now, Blake has everything he needs to shake the foundations of the universe. 

Posting schedule: 1 chapter per day at 12:00pm MST/MDT (except Saturdays). I might drop down later if I can’t maintain it. Each chapter is about 2k words.
