Synopsis

Before the collapse of modern civilization even began, cases of mass hysteria centered around "The End Times" had seen a massive spike. Nobody took it seriously until it finally happened, and within days, the world completely changed.

Now faced with monstrous entities known as "Amalgams", humanity was in desperate need of champions to combat the threat, and in order to produce that, special facilities were erected in order to create such fighters, though, those that were chosen would pay a heavy price for the powers that awakened within them.

Faced with this reality, one particular group of these subjects would decide to break free of the circumstance they had found themselves forced into, aware that their time was limited, and intent on making the most of what they had.

Although, surely such childish ambitions can't lead to anything good...
