Dark Days: Book 1 - Undying

Owen McKlellan is a self-professed 'everyman' doing his level best to live a quiet and good life, but trouble comes knocking at his door - literally - and he finds himself dragged into another world as a slave in training. Soon to be gifted away as a reward for passing the Trials of Raashim, Owen struggles to reconcile the new friends he makes among this people with what has been done to him, and his continuing servitude.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the continent, Knight Ascendant Kivaan leads his comrades in the defence of his nation and the blatant rejection of the Cult of Raashim. As the influence of the Cult grows, Kivaan and his followers must all grapple with just how much they are willing to sacrifice in this battle.
